About the Course
The Tax and Customs Committee ("Committee") successfully organised a session for Members on e-invoicing on 18 July 2024 and a re-run session on 29 July 2024. With mandatory e-invoicing coming into effect in stages commencing 1 Aug 2024, law firms must now start preparing for this sea change to electronic invoices. The implementation of e-invoicing will affect all law firms, regardless of size. The sessions cover the implementation of e-invoicing in Malaysia, data requirements for issuance of e-invoices, requirements for reimbursements and disbursements, the use of the MyTax portal, and Application Programming Interface ("API") or "middleware".
