The Tax and Customs Committee ("Committee") successfully organised a session for Members on e-invoicing on 18 July 2024 and a re-run session on 29 July 2024. With mandatory e-invoicing coming into effect in stages commencing 1 Aug 2024, law firms must now start preparing for this sea change to electronic invoices. The implementation of e-invoicing will affect all law firms, regardless of size. The sessions cover the implementation of e-invoicing in Malaysia, data requirements for issuance of e-invoices, requirements for reimbursements and disbursements, the use of the MyTax portal, and Application Programming Interface ("API") or "middleware".
In order to complete this module successfully, ensure that you watch, for each video, at least 75% of the video duration in a single session and achieve a minimum score of 100% on the quiz. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive 1 CPD point.It's important to remember that you can pause the video and resume it later if needed. However, if you close the browser before reaching the passing point in the video, you'll be required to restart the video from the beginning.
